Beatriz Ramo Visits Melitopol

Beatriz Ramo and Jan Maas (Bureau B+B) together with Marc Glaudemans, director of Stadslab, travelled to Melitopol, Ukraine to meet with local authorities and to study the site of the future Master Class in April. The team gave several press conferences and interviews to newspapers and television channels.
Ramo and Maas will supervise the upcoming special 2010 Stadslab Professionals Master Class in Melitopol, Ukraine. The programme will be developed in conjunction with the Kiev-based organization ‘Democracy through Culture*’ and linked to the Intercultural Cities program of the Council of Europe. 

*Kiev-based organization that supports the development of cultural policy in Ukraine. Provides analytical information on various aspects of cultural policy making. Provides expert support for the Parliamentary Committee on Culture and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine. Participates in the EU project Creating Cultural Capital. Publishes Dialogue bulletin. Organizes seminars on cultural policy. Of interest to managers, cultural operators, culture policy makers.
