Sodom and Gomorrah. Working in A-Critical Times. Congress: Views On a Paradigm Shift

November 11-13, 2010

Beatriz Ramo was invited to speak at the first congress of architecture and philosophy “Miradas para un Cambio de Paradigma” (Views On a Paradigm Shift), at the Architecture School in Valencia, Spain, during November 11, 12 and 13.
Her presentation Sodom and Gomorrah. Working in A-Critical Times – (Sodoma y Gomorra; Proyectar en Tiempo Acríticos) reflects critically on the current situation in the architecture profession where opportunism and demagogy have erased any room for criticism.

The seminar was organized by GAP (Grupo de investigación Arquitectura+Pensamiento) and tH-Taller H, Departamento de Proyectos Arquitectónicos.
Francisco Jarauta, philosopher, opened the seminar with a lecture.
